Hedgehog Cage Kit
I offer to put together a complete cage kit for you. You pay me up front, and everything is set up (lid cut, wire attached, lamp attached to wire and thermostat set for you). I will also show you how to work the thermostat in case you need to change the temperature at home. This is the set up that I used for nearly 8 years without issue, but of course it would need to be maintained and inspected regularly for any issues like melting... I don't know. I just put this here to cover myself. I have never had an issue. Just do not put the wheel under the lamp and you should be okay.
