Ainsley Willow Hedgehogs (AWHH) Sales and Placement Agreement
This agreement is between Ainsley Willow Hedgehogs (AWHH aka "the Seller") and the Buyer listed below.

The Buyer acknowledges that they take physical possession and full responsibility of the hedgehog listed above on the date listed above.
2. Pet-Only Agreement (NO BREEDING RIGHTS)
This hedgehog is sold strictly as a companion animal only. The Buyer agrees:
- The hedgehog will not be bred under any circumstances.
- The Buyer will prevent reproduction, whether intentional or accidental.
- The Buyer will prevent access to any hedgehog of the opposite sex. This includes having hedgehogs of the opposite sex in the same home.
Any reproduction involving this hedgehog constitutes a breach of this Agreement.
3. Care Requirement
The Buyer agrees to provide reasonable, species-appropriate hedgehog care at all times.
The Buyer acknowledges receipt of the care guide titled "Proper Hedgehog Care" (authored by Jenny Weedman-Paul, owner of AWHH), either through individual purchase by the Buyer or as provided at transfer of hedgehog from the Seller.
AWHH reserves the right to refuse future sales to any buyer who fails to follow required care instructions, disregards husbandry guidance, or demonstrates an inability or unwillingness to provide appropriate care. We also reserve the right to discontinue breeder support and end all communication if a buyer repeatedly ignores or refuses to follow provided care instructions or become repeatedly argumentative.
4. Return/Rehoming
If the Buyer can no longer keep the hedgehog, AWHH must be offered first right of return.
The hedgehog may not be sold, transferred or rehomed without prior written approval from AWHH.
No refund will be given.
5. Breach of Agreement
If the Buyer:
- breeds the hedgehog,
- or transfers or rehomes the hedgehog without written approval from AWHH
The Buyer agrees to be responsible for reasonable and documented costs incurred in the enforcement of this Agreement, including transportation, travel, and administrative or legal expenses.
If the hedgehog is unlawfully transferred or cannot be recovered, the Buyer agrees to pay liquidated damages of $500 as a reasonable pre-estimate of enforcement-related losses, in addition to any other recoverable costs as permitted by law.
6. Care Guide Reference
The care guide "Proper Hedgehog Care" is a separate document and is incorporated into this Agreement by reference only.
7. Acknowledgement
By signing below, the Buyer acknowledges that:
- they have read and agree to this Agreement in full
- they understand they are taking possession of the hedgehog listed above on the date listed above
- they have had the opportunity to review all documents prior to signing
- they are over the age of 18 and are able to enter into a legally binding agreement
